The employment services division offers an array of services to make your job search easier. The county offers two employment resource centers, called One Stop Centers, to help adults and students explore career possibilities and develop job options. Location information and hours are listed below.

Services include:

Resume Assistance –Whether you are starting from scratch or fine-tuning, employment counselors help you make your resume get noticed.

Job search databases and job postings – The resource center offers access to local job postings, SCOTI - the statewide jobs database, and national openings.

One-on-one assistance – Employment counselers are available for personal attention to assist with your situation. Your counselor works with you to assess career goals, evaluate educational needs, and create a customized plan to help you meet your goals.

Mock interviews – Critique your own performance in a simulated interview setting to find ways to improve your interviewing skills.

Career assessment and development – Transitions in life sometimes allow us to take a different path. Take advantage of an assessment and evaluation to determine new career opportunities.

Training and education – Counselors work with you to meet your career goals by identifying any gaps in skills or education. You will also learn about local education providers and funding options.

Job Seeking Tools - computer, printer, photocopier, fax machine, resume paper, office supplies, postage, local and long distance telephone calls, Internet access.

Downtown Resource Center: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (or by appointment)

Delaware Area Career Center (CCRC): Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or by appointment)
